Nauset outlasted Barnstable HS on Monday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 7-4 win at Eldredge Field, Orleans (Home). 

The Warriors took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. An error scored Trevor Ridley and gave Nauset Regional Warriors Varsity the lead for good. 

Willy Boyd racked up four RBIs on two hits for Nauset. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning. 

Paul Prue baffled Barnstable HS, striking out five batters. Prue allowed no earned runs on five hits and no walks over five innings.

Mike Doherty got the win in relief for Nauset. Doherty pitched two innings and allowed one run. 

Barnstable HS jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the third. Carlson kicked things off for Barnstable HS with a single. An error then moved Carlson from first to second. Kennedy homered, bringing home Carlson and DiSarcina. 

Nauset answered Barnstable HS' top inning with three runs of its own in the third. The Warriors scored on an RBI single by Noah Grevelis and a two-run single by Boyd. 

The lead was Nauset's to lose after sixth inning. More runs came home on a two-run double by Boyd and an RBI single by Brennan Chisholm.
