PLYMOUTH SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 0
After 4 games on the road the Field Hockey team finally got to play on their home field and came away with the first shut-out of the season, beating Plymouth South 4-0.
Sara McCullough scored the only goal of the first half, assisted by Sarah Ford. 2 minutes into the 2nd half Carli Thomas scored off of a corner play, assisted by Jordan Milesky. Libby Hart scored 6 minutes later, assisted by Sara McCullough and Carry Miller finished the scoring with 17 minutes to go on a beautiful deflection set up by Sara McCullough
Taylor Sheehan and Cady Douglass shared Goalie duties and turned away 4 shots, while Nauset took 20 shots. Tori Eldridge was also strong on defense.
Nauset gets a chance to avenge last week's loss to Barnstable at home on Wednesday.
