NANTUCKET HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Field Hockey team capped off a strong week of play with a shutout at home vs. Nantucket 2-0. This win avenged 2 losses against Nantucket last year, so this win was very satisfying.
Jordan Milesky scored with 8 1/2 minutes left in the first half , and Carli Thomas scored with 14:13 left in the game, assisted by Libby Hart.
Taylor Sheehan once again was outstanding in goal, stopping all 11 shots. Tori Eldridge and Ashley Hale were strong on defense, and Libby Hart did a great job setting up the offense.
We're on the road again next week, with away games Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
