The Varsity Field Hockey team played a strong game vs. Barnstable but unfortunately came up short when Barnstable scored the winning goal with 23 seconds to go.
Barnstable scored first 6 minutes into the game, but Nauset responded with a goal with 14 minutes left in the first half - Sophomore Molly Pelletier scored her first Varsity goal assisted by Carli Thomas. Nauset continued to play strong defense, but Barnstable was able to put in the winning goal with only 23 seconds left.
Sophomore Goalie Jetta Cook played a strong game in goal with 11 saves. Seniors Carry Miller, Ashley Hale, and Naomi Chase played strong defensive games.
