DENNIS YARMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Despite the score, the girls played pretty well today at DY. We held them scoreless the first and third "quarters", and it was only 1-0 at the half. Unfortunately they scored 3 goals in the last 10 minutes of the game, but overall our defense played hard all game. Sophomore goalie Jetta Cook made 25 saves, while Celina Pombo played well at Midfield, Shaye Ellard played well at Center Back, and Sweeper Julia Collette made a couple of key endline saves !
Offensively, Nauset made a couple of strong scoring attempts but the male goalie was up to the task.
