FALMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The girls played a strong game against a strong and physical team. Falmouth scored 2 goals in the first half, but Nauset played them tough the rest of the way and held them scoreless in the 2nd half.
The defensive unit was solid, and did a great job feeding the ball upfield to create many offensive opportunities. Playing especially well were: Ashley Hale, Shaye Ellard, Julia Collette, elina Pombo, and Naomi Chase. Jetta Cook was strong in goal with 18 saves.
The team has greatly improved, and expects to finish out the season successfully.
