Despite the final score, the Nauset Field Hockey team played well against the visiting Nantucket team. Both of our goals were scored by Carry Miller on corner plays in the first half, with assists by Sarah Wardlaw and Naomi Chase to close the gap to 3-2 at halftime.
Cady Douglass, Madison LeBlanc,and Jessica Taylor shared duties in the goal and the team created many offensive opportunities but just couldn't put any more in.
I would like to thank the 7 seniors for all their years of hard work and commitment to Field Hockey: Naomi Chase, Cady Douglass, Ashley Hale, Crystal Johnson, Kayla Koch, Carry Miller, and Celina Pombo. I wish them nothing but the best in their futures!
