Nauset started out strong against DY, scoring with a beautiful shot from 30 yards out by Isabelle Pellegrini to secure Nauset's first goal at 3:00 minutes into the game.  Isabelle then fed a ball to Kiley Vitale who nailed her first of two goals into the back of the net at 8:00 into the first half.

DY adjusted their defense and held off Nauset from scoring for the remainder of the first half.

Nauset came out strong in the second half and scored 5 goals. Lauren McGrath scored an amazing goal from 15 yards out after a pass from Sonja Bergquist.  Sonja then scored two goals for Nauset, at 16:00 & 24:00 minutes into the second half.  Her first goal was a pass from Kiley where she outmanuevered two defenders and the goalie inside the box.  Her second goal was another series of well orchestrated fakes to move inside the box again and nail another shot from inside the 6 yard line.

Kiley Vitale scored her second goal from a pass by Lauren which she placed perfectly into the far right corner of the goal. 

Dawn Johnson, returning after two weeks off for injuries, played strong in defense the first half and then moved to offense in the second half and scored her first goal of the season with a beautiful run down the left sideline, beating two defenders and cutting back towards the goal to defeat the goalie with a shot to the back of the net.
