Nauset AAA won their first game of the season 17-9 against DY. Coach Jerry has been working with Morgan Brown on her pitching and it's starting to pay off. Even though Morgan gave up 10 walks, she was clutch when she needed to be. Again the defense played a superb game in the field.

Taylor Hughes, Sabrina Santos, Becca Miller, and Emma Stevens played great defense. Kelly Rotherberger played well behind the plate. She caught her first pop up near home plate. Whitney Enobakhare had a nice catch in left field.

The play of the game came when Morgan Brown flew off the mound to field a bunt and throw the runner out.

On offense , Nauset AAA was helped by the wildness of their pitch who walked 18 Warriors.Shanice Kelly was on base 4  times, and our first DH Sam Tavano scored three runs and was on base 4 times.

RBI hits came off the bats of Taylor Hughes, Morgan Brown, Whitney Enobakhare, and Emma Stevens (2 hits).

We are working hard to become better players and it shows. We are gaining  confidence,  and developing an aggressive style of base running.
