Nauset AAA traveled to Marshfield to play the undefeated Marshfield team. The team faced the best pitcher this season. The southpaw had speed and a good change up.

The Nauset hitters took a giant step forward in our hitting progression. Against top notch pitching 6 girls had  base hits. We had runners on every inning but could not push a run across.

Whitney Enobakhare crushed a double in the second inning, followed by a single by Kelly Rothererberger for first and third. We left them stranded.

In the third , Maddy Thomas, who had a hit in the first, walked, Becca Miller walked , and Shanice Kelly had an infield hit to load the bases. But the pitcher settled down again.

Emma Stevens and Sam Tavano hit sizzling single up the middle. Even in defeat the Nauset AAA are starting to believe in their ability to hit.

Sam Tavano played well behind the plate, and Maddy Thomas was outstanding at first.Whitney Enobakhare made some nice playes in left field. Becca Miller proved  to the the world, her feet are faster then the eye. Morgan Brown and Emma Steven pitched a nice game.
