Chapter 13 One bad inning

Nauset AAA finally played in good weather. Their bats were on fire banging out 13 hits but that one bad inning held them back. Dy was spotted 13 runs after 2 innings but Nauset AAA refused to quit. They scored 5 runs in the second and 5 more in the fifth. Leading the charge were Maddy Thomas and Sam Travano who had perfect days of 3 hits and a walk. Maddy hit a booming double in the fifth scoring two runs. Leah Colley and Emma Stevens had two hits each.

Leah Colley played an excellent left field and Emma Stevens had a good outing in relief slamming the door on DY.

Coach Jerry said the extra batting practice is starting to pay off. If we put everything together "WATCH OUT".
