IMPROVING

The first meeting between Middleboro and the Nauset Warriors at Middleboro showed some flaws in our defense with scores of 25-13, 25-13 & 25-15.  Last nights performance, however,  showed a vast improvement over their first encounter taking them to four games with scores of 15-25, 15-20, 25-11, & 16-25.  Our serve receive was much stronger along with our attack to kill ratio.  Not to mention our serving prowess committing only 14 errors at that position in 4 games.  Still room for improvement but we added a total of 8 aces which far exceded our last outing.  Falmouth's (Wednesday eve.) game will be the real test as to what this team can do.  We are the youngest team in the ACL but with a very good group of "underclasswomen" coming out we are showing that we can still compete and hopefully create an upset or two.  Come out for Wednesdays match and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
