The last four games of the season the girls have suffered injuries but the girl united to become a more cohesive team. Winning game one 25-15 put the girls on a high they haven't been able to attain very often. In game 2 we may have been a little over confident and scrambled to win 25-22. Game 3 had us on our heels and although we had some good vollies, succombed 23-35. Sturgis was coming on strong in game 4 playing two of their boys in the back row made it difficult for our attackers to put the ball down. Down the stretch the combo of Jaime Firth and Kayla Smith kept their defense off balance as Kayla had 4 kills and Paige Johnson's serve finally connected for three aces and only one error. The three freshman on the team combined for 8 aces with Emma Odell having 4 aces and Abby Grattan having 1.
