Plymouth North HS drops Nauset 4-1

Nauset Regional Warriors Varsity lost 4-1 on Saturday at Plymouth North High School thanks to a no-hitter from Plymouth North HS' Walsh.

No Nauset Regional Warriors Varsity batter was able to locate Walsh's pitches during the game. Walsh threw a no-hitter, striking out six batters and walking five. He got Trevor Ridley to ground out for the final out of the game.

Chris Holcomb ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed three runs.

The lone run of the game for Nauset Regional Warriors Varsity crossed the plate in the third inning on a fielder's choice.

Plymouth North HS stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring two runs on two hit into a fielder's choices.

Plymouth North HS brought home one run in the fourth inning, and matched that run total in the sixth. In the fourth, Plymouth North HS scored on an RBI single by Nicklas, plating C Caraher.
