The Nauset Girls 4x800 team had a breakout performance at yesterday's MIAA Division 3 State Relay Championships at Pembroke High School, placing third in what is annually the most competitive divisional meet in Massachusetts.  The Warriors notched an outstanding time of 10:14, bettering the State Qualifying time by well over 30 seconds, and establishing themselves as a team to watch in the event for the upcoming Divison 3 State Championships on May 25.  The team consisted of Molly Crowell, Coralea Geraniotis, Jenny Leyton, and Callie Schadt, all athletes who specialize in events other than the 800 meters.  They came together impressively on Saturday to focus on a common goal and strongly represent Nauset among the best relay teams in the state.  Splits (hand timed) were as follows:

Molly Crowell (Senior): 2:37.8

Jenny Leyton (Junior) 2:37.9

Callie Schadt (Freshman): 2:32.7

Coralea Geraniotis (Sophomore): 2:23.2
